I now have a long-term roommate, which I should have the right to as they are not transient guests like on Airbnb. I was informed by code enforcement that these same neighbors have been coming to my house (they live 3 or 4 doors down) in the middle of the night to photograph my guest’s car, that has an out of state plate.
It is like my neighbors view cars with out of state plates as nefarious. Who lives with me is my business and should be my right ti privacy. While it may be legal to photograph cars from a public area, such as from the sidewalk, it is still unwanted behavior.
My guest’s cars are parked on my driveway which is my private property. I still feel this is an invasion of privacy. It is making me feel unsafe on my own property.
While they have the right to photograph, I should have the right to tell them to stop. Can I send them a cease and desist letter?
